BLACK HOUSE PROJECT ‘The Pack’ Backpack Concept
My take on the U.S. M1928 Haversack, the standard issue backpack used by all U.S. Army and Marine Corps infantrymen throughout World War I & II. Constructed of 18oz cotton duck canvas with handcrafted vegetable tanned leather straps and solid brass buckles. Details include a large front pocket (also known as the ‘meat pouch’), 2 side pockets with snaps, roomy inside zippered pocket, inside red binding detail and side leather straps.
I’m still working on a few small details but the pack will come in 3 colors, Natural, Army Green and Navy. Stay tuned!
